:(

my car today gave me the most harrowing time.....the sstttupid auto lock/guard went off...for no specific reason. since it had no reason to go off, it did not have a specific cure(in terms of removing that reason)to make it shut up.
it was on full blast...aaaaaaaaaaagh, i went deaf. called up the fella from the company, who was more intersted in knowing my name and telephone number, than in solving my problem immediately. since the ofice had closed, no one could show up beyond office hours, so i was suggested to cut off some red-green-yellow wires from the maze of wires that lie inside the bonnet.
something happened, and as a blessing from the heavens, i could manage to cut off the correcet lead and that thing stooped crying and so could i.
and did i mention, how embarrasing the whole stuff was, i mean the stupid car made me look like a thief!! and cried its loyalty song to the hilt. children are usually the first class of people who come running to check whats going on, and they did, made fun, smiled and basically had a nice time, while passer bys made faces and went past....:(:(

u mentioned in my blog that mahabharat shows us the battle between good and evil..
can u call a king who gambled his wife in a game of dice good(yudhishtra) or a king who was just and only wanted his due right as the eldest son of the ruling king(suyodhana/duryodhana)..
read a tale called "mahabharat ki ek sanjjh"..it is present in CBSE hindi textbooks(dont knw which yr) and showcases the MB from duryodhana's point of view..u will be amazed...

kartik, i believe never has yudhistra been shown to posses any virtue beyond the fact that he always spoke the truth.
suyodhan came to be called as dyryodhan because of his many deeds(it was his father alone who chose to call him by his reall name till the very end)
however, the reall weak character in the entire saga is indeed the king(dhritrashtra)because as the king it was his duty and responsibility towards the stae and its subjects(pandavas included) to actually surpass his 'putra moh' and to not only support but protect and ensure justice. had he done that there would never have been any need for war
and if we look around, it is largely because the people in power- shunning away from their responsibilities...following appeasement(ex.most recently keeping mumm over lebanon)that wars are being generated everywhere.

there is no question of putra moh here...the kingdom was rightly duryodhana's by the ancient laws of patriarchy and the pandavas had no legal right to it.. moral rights maybe but no legal rights

the battle could have been avoided,if dhuryodhan had agreed to give just five villages not the entire kingdom.
further, legal rights are based upon and emnate from legal rights...
