so what is your pick?

  1. To be Happy even when you do not have it?
  2. To be Happy only if you have it?
  3. To be Unhappy even if you have it?
  4. To be Unhappy when you do not have it?

ps: "It" can be anything...

it is important to note that comments should be as far as possible on the options and not what fellow commentators have to say

Yah! I can adjust and live with it. Although the one in red looks better...

2. To be Happy only if you have it?
YAh, i have it, i feel at the top of the world..

but now on second thoughts, red one looks better.

3. To be Unhappy even if you have it?

Ah, bloody hell, the the red one surely looks better..

4. To be Unhappy when you do not have it?

I feel 'it' should be distinguished here as happiness is very subjective.

All in all, I feel "being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections." When you have done so 'it' has no or lesser influence. its easy to be said than done. It requires great deal of self-realization.

So its attitude rather than circumstances that promises happiness if one sees a bigger picture.

to be happy whatever the case may be..without any ifs...
it should b an internal state of being rather than dependent on external forces/ events...
rest is all temporary, momentary wat we may perceive to be a period of happiness...

The most practical one is the last.

I don't believe or know that one 'it' makes life happy forever. There are various 'its' that can make one happy/unhappy at the same time. Most 'its' are dependent of each-other. I wish people had known one just 'it' that would make them happy forever...Thats why 'it' is very much subjective.

When 'its' are dependent its hard to say one 'it' is enough to make one happy/unhappy. So choosing among options stated here becomes relative depending on the situation /circumstances. they can't guarantee permanent (un)happiness though.

different people different perspectives. here is what i gather. i have been in all 4 states. it is only by being in one can one ever know what other is/could be. they are all necessary in a way...so let them come...no worries. i want to take it as it comes.
thoda cool and thoda fool...
